Olivia Pavco-Giaccia fell in love with science at an early age thanks to inspiring elementary school teachers. Now, the Yale University graduate is being honored for her efforts to encourage young girls to fall in love with science, too. She is the Founder and CEO of LabCandy, a program that pairs fun and colorful lab coats and goggles with scientific storybooks. The Science Channel named Pavco-Giaccia as one of their Science Superheroes for Women's History Month. TFK Kid Reviewer Viviana Perez sat with Pavco-Giaccia to talk about her STEM inspirations and future plans for LabCandy.
